The hot spring is located in a deep canyon called Dragon's Grove. The joke (?) being, of course, that there was nothing green in this place. The surrounding rock formations and patterns made it seem as though anything green had been scorched to oblivion by a dragon's flame. Remiel wasn't sure how much of that to believe, of course. Though he supposed Charizard frequented these parts on occasion.[break][break]

Regardless, Dragon's Grove was home to several hot springs that many deemed exquisite, but far too dangerous to reach. Despite being confident in his ability to reach it without dying, however, Remiel didn't want to tempt fate. So, naturally, he called upon his ranger friend to help him traverse the land and reach the spring. It had also been some time since he'd last met with Raziel Beckett .[break][break]

After changing into nothing else but a towel in a private part of the cavern, Remiel returned to the steaming pool they had chosen and waded inside. He sucks in a deep breath as the sting assaults his skin for a moment, then turns to meet his friend's gaze. "It's nice... a bit hotter than other springs, however." He remarks, looking around at the cavernous chamber they resided in.[break][break]

Traveling up wasn’t that tough. Though it could be that during his time as a ranger getting around the natural shape of the land had begun to be easy after practice and practice. Hell he could recall some of his first days where he’d hurt for hours on in. But now? It felt almost simple. So when Remiel asked him to come and prepare for some hot springs seemed like a fun little exercise. [break][break]

Though unlike the saunas back in the normal hot springs Razz wasn’t entirely sure about the ones they were going to. Choosing to wear trunks because that’s just the type of person he was.to test the waters he stay goes in legs first, wincing slightly at the heat as Salem tries it himself as well but removes his paw with a silent nope. ”Just a little bit, he attempt to joke. Seems like both of them were ignorant to the ways of teenagers, as he spent most of his teenage years very isolated. He isn't sure about the other though but his teenage years, especially the tail of it were loanly. [break][break]

There are a few instances, fewer than he could count on one hand, where the royal had dared to take part in such... frivolous and idiotic teenage practices. Having mostly forgotten such experiments, however, and, on some level, embarrassed by them, Remiel didn't have any stories to tell in that regard. Seems there was a similarity there, through rather than being groomed for royalty Razz was being groomed for war. Make it so he wouldn't feel, though that had all seemed to fail in the end. He's silent for a bit not sure how comfortable he was with sharing, especially when lying not literally burned him. [Break][break]

Though an encouraging look from Salem helped. "Not really no, my earlier teen years my parents basically had me on a figuritive leash, as for my late teen years well... There's a reason I was called a 'Hermit' back in Sootopolis."

At this point, Remiel has more or less grown accustomed to the spring's heat. Or, at least, as he accustomed as he felt he was ever going to get. This prompts him to slowly wade in deeper, until the water is up to his chest.[break][break]

"And why's that?" He asks, turning over his shoulder to gauge Razz's expression. "Why do you make yourself so scarce? Don't you grow lonely?" Not that he was a social butterfly himself, of course, but he genuinely wondered.[break][break]

Razz eyes narrow a bit in thought at the question seemingly unsure. "I don't know? Habit maybe?" its a guess more than anything, a small sting of the tongue as it seemed that he was lying even to himself. The word betrayal crosses his kind but he puts it aside. [Break][break]

"People were always interested in the rest of my family," but never him, his face hardens as the dark thoughts rise, "But no, I'm not much of a fan of people and I have my pokemon, so that's enough again there is a burn at his tongue and Razz can't help but reach for the water bottle he brought for a drink.

Habitual seclusion was rarely ever a good thing. Those who purposefully secluded themselves for one reason or another usually weren't much better either, in all honesty. But at the very least they had their reasons. Remiel knew there had to be something more.[break][break]
